Love in the Sky: A Stunning Wedding Video at MBS Lavo Rooftop – Thomas & May Wedding Full Day Edit (FDE)

As a wedding videographer, there’s nothing quite like capturing the magic and beauty of a couple’s big day. Recently, I had the privilege of filming a wedding at one of Singapore’s most iconic locations, the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) Lavo Rooftop. I’m excited to share some of the highlights from this stunning wedding video, and my experience creating it.

The video, which you can watch at the link above, captures the essence of the couple’s love and the breathtaking scenery at MBS Lavo Rooftop. The video opens with aerial shots of the iconic Singapore skyline, and then transitions to intimate moments of the couple getting ready for their big day. The wedding ceremony itself was a beautiful affair, with the couple surrounded by their loved ones against the backdrop of the stunning skyline. Throughout the video, the love and happiness of the couple shone through, making it a joy to watch.

As a wedding videographer, capturing the magic of the day is both an art and a science. Additionally, I worked closely with the couple to understand their vision for the video and made sure to capture all the key moments that they wanted to remember. The result is a video that not only showcases the beauty of the location, but also the love and joy of the couple.

Capturing a wedding video at MBS Lavo Rooftop was a truly special experience, and one that I will always treasure. The stunning location and beautiful couple made it a joy to create this video, and I’m thrilled with the final result. I hope that this video will serve as a lasting memory of the couple’s special day, and a testament to the power of love and beauty.

The Benefits of Having a Same-Day Edit(SDE) Video at Your Wedding

A same-day edit video is a popular trend in wedding videography, where your videographer edits and shows a short film of your wedding day during the reception. There are many benefits to having a same-day edit video, including:

  1. Creates a memorable experience for you and your guests: a same-day edit video is a unique and exciting way to relive the highlights of your wedding day with your loved ones.
  2. Captures the emotions and excitement of the day: seeing your wedding day on screen while it’s still fresh in your mind can be emotional and moving.
  3. Provides a sneak peek of the final wedding video: if you’re excited to see your wedding video, a same-day edit video can give you a glimpse of what’s to come.
  4. Share your wedding!

An Example of Same Day Edit(SDE) we did:

Stephen & Kiki

This wedding has got everything: Fun people, a magician, lovely location, great decorations, perfect weather and most of all..it got my heart.

Stephen and Kiki are such genuine and easy-going people Kelvin and I had a breeze working with them (and their families!).

I love that everything was really laid back..so much so that Kiki even had some time to help out with the decorations at the reception table herself! I love that they were not overly worried about things potentially going wrong on that day and just enjoying being to celebrate with their friends and families.

Most of all though, I love both their speech. After 7 years or so of working on weddings, one thing that always still gets me is a vow from the heart 🙂

Jason & Melissa

Hello! It has been a while since I get something up (I have been very selective about what to put up and what to keep for show during meet-ups) and I am excited to share this Same Day Edit 🙂

Jason and Melissa had 6 sets of sword bearers during their first march-in and asked if I could film it and include the portion into the edit and be shown before their second march-in.

Challenge accepted.

Of course, this takes careful time management (and experience)! The main challenge is working on this wedding alone without a minion, I have to make sure I know what I am doing each step of the way and to manage the timing of everything perfectly. You may see me rushing back and forth during this time. It is all very unglamorous but I enjoy the adrenaline 🙂
